The Silver Key

Broken Locket had just entered the settlment of New Ponyville and lets out a small sigh "Maybe ill find a pony who needs something explored or maybe a bounty for a gang of Raiders need taken out" she thought as she made her way towards what seemed to be the towns Bar "Might as well grab a drink here..." She steps softly into the bar as silent as always with not a single eye landing on her.

Apple was hanging out at the local bar... Just visiting and getting a drink.

"Hey, can I get a whiskey over here?"

She received her order and paid the bits for it. She wanted to leave, but somehow decided to stay. Apple soon heard footsteps in the bar, also deciding that she didn't want to be impolite she did not look at the mare.

Locket made her was over to the bar, and takes a seat on many of the old grimy dust covered stools. "Vodka..." Was all she said as she pulled out an enchanted lock she used to keep her lock picking skills sharp.

Apple felt a hoof on her shoulder, it was from a drunk stallion.

"Hey baaaaaaaaby wanna get outta here?"

Since Apple wasn't in the mood for games and she didn't know who this stallion was she slap the hoof off her shoulder, pushed the stallion down, and had a knife pointed towards him.

"You leave me alone and I won't kill you. Fuck face."

Apple sat back down and drank her whiskey, putting her knife back. Her head hurt after that. Apple looked at the mare she was sitting by. The mare seemed to of had a magic lock.

"Hey, I'm sorry for that scene. Hope I didn't scare you."

Locket looked over at Apple just as the lock popped open with a soft "Click" She waves a hoof at her as to say "Never mind" As she took a drink of her Vodka letting the cold bite warm her stomach and relax her a bit before relocking the lock and starting to pick it again.

Apple sipped her whiskey, she was a little young for it but really? Who cares, it's the wastelands! She stared at the lock a little more... Surely it was nothing.
